Pamela P. Gregory, Victim Specialist - FBI Advocate - Panelist and Trauma Notification

BIO:

Pamela has worked in the Victim Services Field for over 30 years.  She joined the FBI Victim Services Division in 2003 and is assigned to the FBI Columbia Division as a Victim Specialist.  Pamela provides federal victim services and support throughout the state to include victims of violent crime, terrorism, mass violence crimes, white collar crime, child sexual abuse material and exploitation, human trafficking, and many others.   While a member of the FBI Victim Services Division’s Victim Services Response Team, Pamela received extensive training on the national level with the NTSB and other federal partners to respond to criminal mass violence incidents. On the evening of June 17, 2015, Pamela responded to a mass shooting that occurred in Charleston, SC in which nine African Americans were killed during a bible study at the Emanuel African Methodist, Episcopal Church.  Pamela worked closely with state and federal partners at the onset of the crime to support the victims and families until long after the conclusion of the federal trial.  Pamela is a Trauma Notification Team Trainer with the FBI Victim Services Division and trains FBI Special Agents, task force officers, and victim specialists, using an evidence-informed protocol.  These teams can serve as force multipliers for external partners who request assistance with death notifications.    Before Joining the FBI, Pamela worked as a victim advocate with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina.
